Adolfo Diaz, BSBA, PTA
Adolfo Diaz of Miami, Florida, and a native of Cuba, co-founded the
Center for Education Advocacy, Inc. in Miami, Florida. Adolfo
brings a wealth of professional experience in public speaking,
having conducted numerous presentations and workshops for
professionals and parents. Adolfo brings the perspective of a
parent, advocate, and professional, providing physical therapy to
children, young adults and elderly patients in both the hospital and
home settings.
Adolfo has worked at Parent to Parent of Miami as a Family Support
Coordinator and as a Parent Liaison at the University of Miami
Center for Autism and Related Disorders, providing information and
support for parents of children with autism and conducting workshops
on behavior management techniques.
In 1996, Adolfo was selected to participate in the Education work
group of the National Council on Disability Policy Summit held in
Dallas, Texas. The participation in this National Summit changed
Adolfo's life forever, as during this historic Summit in Dallas, he
met his wife, Lilly Rangel-Diaz. Adolfo and his son, Christopher,
joined Lilly and her five sons, Juan "Papo," Ricky, Jorgey, Carlos
and David Pollo, and they were married in June, 1997.
Adolfo presently works for the National Parkinson Foundation as the
Field Services Manager.
